DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS

Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) covers the generation, storage and use of power. We use so many items in our daily life use power (mains, batteries, petrol/ motors or even solar panels).

EEE is a very important part of our everyday life. The study of EEE can involve large amounts of power (eg power and control engineering) and large devices (eg power stations and electric vehicles) or small amounts of power (eg computer, communications and information engineering) and small devices (eg MP3 players and cell phones).

The vision of this Department is to provide the leadership to enable India's excellence in the field of Electrical Engineering. The Department is committed to advancement of the frontiers of knowledge in Electrical Engineering and to provide the students with a stimulating and rewarding learning experience.

CAREER OPTIONS

After you complete Diploma in Electrical Engineering you have many option you can take the benefit of Campus Placement , they can be observed in Private companies such as CTS, TCS, ABP, NOKIA, Supreme , Jobs in Theremal Engineering Govt Companies Such as Rail,ONGG, BHEL , SAIL, ECIL,ISRO,Tata Group. After Diploma you can do Courses such as PLC Courses, Circuit Designing Course, Chip Technology Courses BSNL, KPTCL etc.

Eligibility

  • As per the norms laid down by Director of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka
  • Non-Karnataka students should obtain Eligibility Certificate issued by the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka
  • Karnataka students who have passed class X in ICSE or CBSE should also obtain Eligibility Certificate issued by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka
  • Duration : 3 Years (6 Semesters)
  • Intake : 45 Seats
  • Under Lateral Entry Scheme
  • 20% seats Reserved for III Sem BE Course in respective branches for Diploma Holders Reservation of seats
  • 15% seats are reserved for Schedule Caste and 5% for Schedule Tribes students as per the norms of Director of Technical Education Government of Karnataka.
