Most importantly, Dharwad district holds the top place for rendering quality education to students of all the corners of our country and at present, Hubli Dharwad twin cities are ahead of all other cities in moulding the character of the students and making them golbally accepetable by inclulcating the required skills. Gone are the days when the students were striving hard to get jobs after their degree but the present scenario has totally changed and the opportunities are over flowing and the candidates who have all the soft skills will be immediately picked up by the bluechip companies.
Considering this very seriously and having been aware of the importance of technical education and the avenues in the field of IT sector, the Viswabharati Foundation thought of establishing to a polytechnic Institute and obviously HUBLI city was choosen for establishing a polytechnic Institute. The Foundation aimas at transforming the students not only of North Karnataka, but it would also like to attract the attention of the students of neighbourning states.
To groom the students through innovative methods of teaching annalitical approach and to instill the requisite knowledge, Oxford polytechnic came into being and the wings of Oxford polytechnic started fluttering from July, 2008. The another significant reason for setting up polytechnic in Hulbli city is because it is just a ONE NO|IGHT journey to Hubli from most important cities like Bangalore (420 Kms) Hyderabad (430 Kms) Mumbai (486 Kms) Poona (450 Kms) Mysore (420 Kms) Tirupati (450 Kms) the state of beaches ie.Goa (200 Kms) and the world famous THE GOLGUMBAZ is just a five hour’s distance from Hubli.
